Bathroom emergency plumbing

With sinks, showers, bathtubs, bidets and toilets - no wonder bathrooms are all about efficient plumbing systems. A bathroom plumbing dual system branches out into water supply and a drain-waste-vent (DWV) network. The water supply pipes deliver cold water to the sink, tub, toilet and shower, and a further line supplies hot water on demand via a water heater. The DWV plumbing reroutes waste water from bathroom fixtures to the sewer or septic system. Located close to the bathtub, sink, toilet, and shower - bathroom vent pipes elevate sewer gases out the roof and provide the DWV with air pressure so waste can easily flow out.

Clogged pipes, overflowing or jammed toilets, running shower heads, leaky faucets and blocked drains are among the plumbing emergencies which plague our bathrooms.

Any bathroom plumbing emergency requires urgent fix, not only for users convenience, but also to save up on water. Repairing the smallest toilet leak can save 27-hundred gallons annually.
